Prenatal Yoga

Flow Yoga (Sat 9:00-10:30 am) <

Try Flow Yoga -- also known as Vinyasa -- a dynamic, breath-centered style
of Hatha yoga in which flowing sequences of postures are woven into a balanced,
whole body workout. No experience necessary, but this practice is intended
for individuals who wish to work vigorously.

Kung Fu for Kids (Sundays 10:00 - 10:45 am) << NEW!!
Come and join our class as we each develop our own unique style of self-expression through play while mimicking the monkey, tiger, snake, and crane! Kids will gain coordination, balance, self-confidence, communication and self-defense skills, and respect for themselves and others. Geared towards ages 3-5, but all ages and parents welcome. (Parent participation is not required – but it’s fun!) Pre-registration is required. Runs through July 13.

T'ai Chi
(Mondays 10:00-11:00
am)
Deeply rooted in Chinese medicine,
meditation, and the martial arts, T'ai Chi Chu'an offers the ancient art and
exercise of the mind, energy and body through movement and meditation.
T'ai Chi is well tested and proven to help with relaxation, and it has been
prescribed by doctors to alleviate stress, arthritis, high blood pressure,
balance difficulties, lower back pain, improved respiration and circulation. It
can lead us to an increase in energy, awareness and reconnecting with our
center, which helps us to rediscover harmony of body, mind and spirit.

Iyengar
Yoga for Every Body! (Mon 5:15-6:45 pm)

This is a multi-level therapeutic class taught in
the Iyengar tradition. Join Jo as she guides you through yoga postures and sequences
designed to promote health, improve immune function and address specific acute
or chronic conditions. This class offers individualized attention and is
appropriate for healthy people as well as people with sports or overuse
injuries, and chronic conditions such as heart disease, HIV, hepatitis or

Beginner & Beyond Yoga

For both new and practiced beginners, this moderate-level, supportive and
often playful class teaches principles of structural alignment for flexibility,
stability and strength.

Qigong for Healing Self &
Others (Mon 7:00-8:30 pm) < Runs thru June 30. New session starts Thursday, July 10 (see below)
Learn internal martial
art forms designed to sense, transmit and cultivate qi,
or life force energy, for the purpose of healing self and others. These simple and gentle forms have been passed
down for centuries through monastic lineages of Chinese Medicine by Taoist priests and
Buddhist monks. A moving meditation, Qigong practice will
prepare students for the introduction to sitting meditation offered at the

Yoga for Athletes (Tues 5:30-6:45 pm)<< NEW!
Come experience a practice that will create balanced tone, flexibility, and agility. We will move through a flowing sequence of postures linked by breath to improve cardiovascular health and circulation, and we will learn specific postures to target areas of tightness, injury or weakness, exploring new movement patterns to address these challenges. This practice for all active individuals will prevent pain and injury, increase flexibility, develop healthy body posture, and cultivate focus and a sense of ease.

Underwritten in part by Green Fields Market,this qigong (Chi Kung) class is
particularly geared to the beginner and offers a variety of self-healing and
energizing exercises. These simple ancient Chinese exercises consist primarily
of slow, gentle movements combined with breath and awareness. Learn how to
cultivate your vital life force, activate the internal medicine within and

A focused series of poses with an emphasis on anatomical integrity and alignment. Classes frequently include more challenging and/or vigorous postures (backbends, arm balances, inversions, etc.), more in-depth instruction and analysis of the poses and an exploration of pranayama, bandha, and yoga philosophy. Recommended for students with at least one year of consistent practice.
