Weather Advisory  To learn if classes are cancelled due to inclement weather, listen to 98.3 FM WHAI or Bear Country 95.3 FM.

  * Kids are welcome to most classes for only $10 per class (ages 10-13 accompanied by parent/guardian, age 14+ anytime! Contact the instructor to pre-register.

  * All classes welcome beginners unless otherwise indicated. For details see the class levels definitions below, or contact the instructor directly.

  * Most classes are on-going, so you can start anytime.  

  * Plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early for registration and orientation. 

  * Prices range from $10-15 for dropping in to a class. Check class description or contact instructor for details.  Some barter slots available.

Class Descriptions        Free, Low Cost & Benefit Classes     Workshops & Special Events

Class Levels

Level 1 (beginners): For beginners and others wanting a guided, gentler experience, Level 1 classes introduce postures, breathing techniques, and yogic philosophy with supportive, clear instruction and individual assistance.

Level 2 (experienced beginners): For students with some yoga experience, Level 2 classes provide a more vigorous approach to basic postures, along with an introduction to intermediate asanas and techniques.

Level 3 (intermediates): For students with a developed practice, Level 3 classes facilitate a deeper exploration of more challenging and/or vigorous asanas (backbends, arm balances, inversions, etc.) and continued integration of basic postures, pranayama, bandha, and yoga philosophy.

* Coop Yoga and Qigong for Health & Happiness classes are underwritten by Franklin Community Co-op. 

> Coop Yoga is offered to FCC members for $1 per class and to the general public for only $5 per class. 

> Qigong for Health & Happiness is offered to the community for a suggested donation of $8-12. (On the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month, FCC members may enjoy this class for only $2)
